manifesting

Creating your own fairy tale

Essentially, manifestation is bringing something tangible into your life through attraction, belief, and working towards goals.

There is more to manifestation than willpower and positive thinking.

Angelina Lombardo, the author of A Spiritual Entrepreneur, says “manifesting is making everything you want to feel and experience a reality... via your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions."

You need to know exactly what you want. Make your intention as specific as possible.

Lombardo says, "The more clear and concise, the better."

Once you've set your intention, ask for what you want—and write it down on paper.

Once you've pinpointed exactly what your hopes, dreams, and goals are, you need to ask the universe for what you want. This can be done in a variety of ways—prayer, meditation, visualization, speaking your intentions out loud, a vision board and/or a “future box,” which is a container full of pictures of items you want to manifest—but you need to say exactly what you want.

your goals - the doing

According to Gabrielle Bernstein, author of Super Attractor and The Universe Has Your Back, "Manifesting is also known as co-creating because it’s a collaboration between you and the Universe."

dreams & goals

Knowing what you want is only half the goal— you will not see any results without action. Set aside a bit of time to think about what steps you can take to reach your goals yourself, then build them into your routine.

Note: Manifesting is perceived by mainstream

science as a pseudoscientific self-help strategy.

“Another way to be ‘in action’ when manifesting is to ask yourself the question, ‘What would my future self be thinking?’" Lombardo says. The reason? Reframing your mind can (and will) enable you to be successful. "'Being' the person who already has, does, and feels your goals, dreams, and desires helps you become that person."

  1. Write in the present tense. ...

  2. Believe in your story. ...

  3. Avoid coming from a place of need and attachment. ...

  4. Keep a record to refer to past manifestations.

  1. Citrine – For manifesting abundance, prosperity, or anything you desire.

  2. Clear Quartz – For amplifying your intentions.

  3. Carnelian – For manifesting physical energy, motivation, and creativity.

  4. Amethyst – To manifest tranquillity and a spiritual connection.

  5. Rose Quartz – To manifest love.

When you start seeing synchronicities faster,
know you’re on the right path.

Scripting is a Law of Attraction technique that involves writing in detail about the reality that you want to manifest. It involves letting your imagination take hold and then communicating this through words, in an almost story-like way. It can be a really fun and rewarding way to work with manifestation.

Scripting is basically writing fanfiction of yourself in your desired reality.

This form of LOA will really help you get clear on your intention.

Purple, blue, or red ink is especially powerful when manifesting.

While you may not get everything you envision in the order and time frame you want, you should receive and acknowledge what you do get—no matter how big or small it may be.

When you’re moving towards the right vibrational path, the universe will show you many signs.

Good things come to those who wait and do. Be grateful when you see things happening.

When you want something, you’ll begin to see it all around you, visual signs that you’re manifesting your desires into reality.

Even if it hasn’t fully arrived yet, get excited when you notice such signs. Because something AMAZING is about to happen.

Feeling happy and joyful is another sign that your manifestation is on the way.

speak and ask

Believe in your story - your fairy tale come true

Ask the Universe to send you a clear or obvious sign within a specific time frame. For example, you can say something like, "Ok Universe, please send me a clear sign within the next 24 hours that I'm supposed to go through with this decision," or whatever you want to ask

I am complete as I am

I am wonderful as I am today

Once you've pinpointed exactly what your hopes, dreams, and goals are, you need to ask the universe for what you want. This can be done in a variety of ways—prayer, meditation, visualisation, speaking your intentions out loud, a vision board and/or a “future box,” which is a container full of pictures of items you want to manifest—but you need to say exactly what you want.

Let go of any resistance and limiting beliefs.

Energy is everything. The energy we put out in the world is the energy we get back. Learn to raise your vibration. Start by focusing on activities that create feelings of joy and happiness.

Concentrate on how you want to feel. So, if you want more love in your life, set your intention to be more loving. If you seek kindness, focus your energy on empathy and compassion.

Be flexible—fluid like water and trust the process.

The steps you take do not matter as much as your belief.

Trust your actions, visions, and clarity as well as the 'powers that be'.

The law of attraction knows no bounds.

DREAM BIG, beautiful soul.

According to Psychology Today, mental practices

(like visualisation) can increase motivation, confidence, and even motor performance. In fact, in one study, researchers found that, in athletes, visualisation was almost as effective as physical practice.

To make your vision board work,

put it somewhere you can see it

and look at it as often as possible.

vision board

creating the dream via mood, feels, in pictures

For success with manifestation, you have to set your intention, believe that it will become a reality, then take active steps towards making that abstract idea come to fruition.

One tool for manifesting dreams is a vision board, a pictorial representation of your goals. This displays various images and text that represent something you're trying to accomplish. Some boards hone in on a singular dream, while others look at the bigger picture and combine several.

Most of the time you act based on what you expect to happen not on what you want to happen. By training your brain to see these things can happen for you visually, incorporating and reinforcing new beliefs you are setting yourself up for success in whatever you want to accomplish.

wish tree

Scripting can be a powerful reality shifting exercise that can be beneficial for anyone at any stage of their manifestation journey.

Scripting allows you to build faith in the Law of Attraction as you can look back at your scripts and see just how far you've come and what you have manifested.

I have been using a 'wish tree' as a similar manifestation tool. I hang beautiful dangly pretties which catch the eye and place hand-written wishes via tags onto the tree's gorgeous branches. I later keep the tags and place them in a journal for that year.

I also use a Christmas bauble, silver mercury glass, which is heart-shaped and opens like a locket. I place my more detailed wishes in this - hand-written notes folded just so. It's like a little ritual and feels special as only do this once a year. The rest of the time I walk past and move the dangles, some chime, and I believe it generates fresh energy for the tree wishes.

The tree inspiration derives from the ones used at wedding receptions. I thought, why just use it for a limited time?

To me, it mentally conquers up 'good vibes' from happy celebrations and is perfect for a centrepiece at home. I purchased one from eBay and placed it onto a gorgeous Louis style silver chest. Lot's of people have commented and wanted to get their own. I get excited for them and check in to see how they've decorated theirs.

Try writing with a beautiful ornate fountain pen and scented ink.

Once a goal, a dream has materialised, seal with wax and ribbon - a ritual of completion.

A wishing tree is essentially an individual tree that has been chosen specifically and is used for offerings and wishes. Generally, people will come to these trees and make offerings in the form of notes, flowers, coins, etc to have a wish granted, or a prayer heard.

The Wish Tree is a Dutch wedding custom where guests write their good wishes to the couple on a piece of paper, either shaped like a leaf or made of cardstock and then hang it on the tree.

Chinese wishing trees, money trees, and hong bao trees are a big part of Chinese New Year festivities. Every year, billions of people around the world gather to toss their red ribbons up into the wishing tree with the hope that it will stick and their wish will come true for good fortune in the coming year.

Tanabata is a celebration that occurs every year in Japan. It is associated with people of all ages making a wish, writing it on colourful strips of paper (tanzaku) and tying them to a bamboo tree. This tree may be at a shrine or simply tastefully put in your front garden.

The wedding wish tree is a lovely alternative to the traditional guest book or signing frame. Guests write their hopes and wishes to the happy couple on a beautiful tag and hang it on the tree like leaves.

a mindset
of abundance

what you can visualise in your mind

you can hold in your hands

Reality is past tense.

It is the result of your past actions and ways of thinking.

Your better times will manifest from what you are choosing to think, believe, feel, and do in the present - the now.

Look at visual mood boards, visualisation, and scripting as a ritual of self-love. Allow yourself to dream and enjoy the process.

Off you go to write that dream - make it happen by doing. Write your desires in present tense with appreciation and excitement like it already happened.

Describe textures, colours, flavours, use all of the senses, and let those feelings become real. Feel that anticipation rise at the joy of having. This is how the magic works - the feels - positive and uplifting - all good vibes. Start vibrating at the same frequency as your dreams by using these feels. Make gratitude prominent in your story. Write as if a letter to yourself or like you are telling someone close the luck you have received from out of nowhere.

When you tap into these emotions, your brain doesn’t know the difference between reality and the story you’ve written - it will start believing it’s already happened, that's it is true.

Writing by hand offers rich sensory that positively stimulates the brain, a form of meditation. However, it's how you feel while doing the story that sets everything in motion.

Set a day of the week to light some candles and write on your scripting for the week. Then, go back daily and reread or touch, saviour the dream now made a reality in your mind.

The other days, look at your mood board. Combine different tools as gentle daily reminders. Coffee books and intentional magazines are good for visuals too. Anything that lifts your spirits and inspires.

No one is permanently on a high note, so these little things are so very important to act as reminders. They are also away from the internet - in the here and now, using all senses. Of course, you can use online tools as well - it's your choice. Whatever feels better for you.

You can write some lines down whenever you feel inspired, jot down desires each day and then mentally release them to the universe.

“The most common cause of being stuck is the lack of clear and focused goals and visualisations. The Universe lacks something to work with and so it does nothing.  Life fills the mind with images and feels expressed, and without them, there’s no energy for the universe to do its magic.”

'brain scans have shown,
your brain doesn't know the difference between a real memory and an imaginary one'

Think of your vision board as a living thing—rip things off, add things, or start from scratch if you're so inclined
